ZZ TOP- I NEED YOU TONIGHT
Excerpt from ZZ TOP DOUBLE DOWN LIVE. Double Down Live is a 2 DVD set from ZZ Top combining shows from 1980 and 2008. Disc one was filmed at the Grugahalle in Essen, Germany for the Rockpalast TV series. Hot on the heels of their classic "Deguello" album (it features 9 of the 10 songs from it) the show finds ZZ Top before sequencers and synthesizers epitomizing their "lil' ol' blues band from Texas" nickname. Complimented by tracks drawn predominantly from their "Tres Hombres" and "Fandango!" albums this is a true best of ZZ Top in the seventies. Disc Two was shot and produced by Black Dahlia Films during the bands European tour in 2008 and combines great live performances, interview clips and back stage footage to create the ultimate ZZ Top on the road movie. With nearly 30 years between the performances the two disc set gives a fascinating "then and now" insight into what has maintained the ZZ Top live phenomenon.

AMANDA HARDY - ACROSS THE UNIVERSE
This clip was shot back in March 2013 and one of my all time favorite Beatles songs. Amanda and I ran into each other out in Maui while both vacationing and decided to take the opportunity to spend a day to run around and shoot something off the cuff. I suggested "Across The Universe" because it seemed fit the serenity of where we were. With no prep and just enough time for her to pull out a guitar and learn the song we started filming. The weather was great that day and we stumbled upon this beautiful, barren hillside that had recently been torched by a fire. So we marched up it with our gear and made good. There is an innocence and simplicity to this video I have always loved. Until now it has only been seen at two of my local showcase screenings. I had the opportunity to shoot a promo for Amanda earlier in her career and it has been a privilege to watch her blossom as an Artist since. There are amazing things to come in her very near future. Hard work and perseverance pay off… Directed by: Jamie Burton Chamberlin @ Black Dahlia Films Production Assistance: Joel Eggert Music Produced by: Scotty Olsen @ Jibe Records
